Another day of cottage hunting may lead the avid real estate cottage buyers, or even vacationers looking for a summer rental spot to Lake Manitoba Narrows – a good 3 hour drive (each way) even at the best of times.

If that is not enough for the intrepid cottage buyer, additional trips might take the potential cottage owner out to the Manitoba year round playground of glacial lakes and granite – the beautiful and scenic Whiteshell region. Add another hour and half each way (once outside the city limits of Winnipeg). Oh well you can always add this motor trip to a jaunt to the Lake of the Woods Kenora Ontario and Northern Minnesota cottage country regions. They are approximately only an hour away further.

How nice it would be for cottage buyers as well as vacation property renters if they could only find a host of cottages for sale or rent listed on the internet and let their fingers , or in this case their mouse “do the walking” ( or in this case driving).
