Delaware Forest Service tree projects coming to Sussex County
April 20, 2018
Delaware Forest Service awards $58,000 for 16 tree planting projects across the state. Projects will focus on tree planting or tree management, which DFS Urban and Community Forestry Director Kesha Braunskill says will bring communities together and build awareness about the benefits of increasing tree canopies. Over half of the grant funding is going to 7 communities in Sussex County, including the Town of Ellendale, City of Lewes, and Village of Five Points.
