DENVER -  Expect overnight lows in the teens around the Denver metro tonight. We will have mostly clear skies and the winds will be dying down.

In the mountains, snow will be possible off and on through the weekend, but amounts will be limited to just a couple inches.  Temperatures will stay chilly through Sunday with afternoon readings in the 30s.

Denver and most of eastern Colorado will be a little warmer Sunday with highs in the low 40s.

Milder air will return to the central Rockies early next week as temperatures bounce back into the 50s in the Denver area by Monday and in the mid to upper 40s on Tuesday.

Another storm will impact Colorado next Wednesday with more snow likely.  Highs will drop back to the mid-30s.

SNOW UPDATE: So far, we've only seen 19.4" of snow at Denver International Airport and that is about half normal at this point in the season. In fact, we would need nearly 20 inches of snow before the end of February to hit our normals for the season.

In the mountains, the snow-pack is roughly at 75% of normal for the season, with the southern mountain areas in the worst shape. The recent storms are helping, but we could use several more good snowstorms!
