Jerome Succor Aba is a peace and human rights advocate from the Philippines. He was in the United States for a scheduled meeting with the U.S. Council of Bishops and U.S. Congress. He was also a featured speaker for the upcoming Ecumenical Advocacy Days (EAD) in Washington, D.C. on HR situation in Philippines as well as the Stop The Killings Speaking Tour sponsored by the International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines and the Malaya Movement.

His paperwork for travel was all in order, which includes a 10-year visa. But instead he was been detained for 22 hours, denied entry and the right to a lawyer, and DEPORTED!

The protest will take place on Friday, April 20 at 6 p.m. in the Federal Plaza, 50 West Adams in downtown Chicago.
