My parents and my time spent in the military helped teach me discipline and respect and how to reach my goals. I am thankful for my time in the military and the amazing people I met and worked with.”

HELENA, MT, UNITED STATES, February 7, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The National Association of Realtors® awards the MRP certification to Realtors® who help military personnel, veterans and their families find housing that lets them make the best use of their benefits and serves the unique needs of military life.

When military staff and their families relocate, the services of a real estate professional who understands their needs and timetables can make the transfer easier, faster and less stressful. Realtors® who earn this certification know to work with active duty military buyers and sellers, as well as veterans.

“Service members may only have a couple of days to view properties and make an offer, and others might be deployed at the time and need someone who can represent them while they’re away. Working with a Realtor® who understands the singular complications that arise with military service can help make the home buying process simpler, faster and less stressful,” said National Association of Realtors® President Tom Salomone, broker-owner of Real Estate II Inc. in Coral Springs, Florida. “The MRP certification lets home buyers and sellers know that a Realtor® knows the ins and outs of military housing benefits, such as zero-down payment loans, and the specific needs service members and veterans have when searching for their new home.”

The certification provides NAR’s members with resources to accommodate current and former military service members at any stage of their military career and is an approved elective for NAR’s Accredited Buyers Representative designation. To earn the MRP certification, Realtors must be in good standing with NAR; complete the MRP Certification Core Course; complete a reading providing background information on the military, included acronyms and understanding military culture; and complete two webinars.

Charlotte grew up in the small town of Ronan, just 13 miles from Flathead Lake, on the Flathead Indian Reservation. She joined the Army Reserves at just 17 years of age with her parents being required to give their permission for her to enlist. She attended Basic Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, during summer break between her Junior and Senior years of high school. She then attended monthly drills at the 279th Engineer Detachment in Missoula, MT. She was the first woman assigned to that unit after its combat designation was removed. After her Senior year in High School she attended Advanced Individual Training (AIT) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. Over the next few years she attended college in Missoula, MT, then Phoenix, AZ. She moved back to Montana in 1991 and did several short active duty tours until she applied to be an Active Guard Reservist (AGR). Once she was accepted she attended a second AIT at Fort Ben Harrison, IN, and was reclassified into Personnel. She was then assigned to the 257th Transportation Company (HET) in Las Vegas, NV, where she was one of five active duty members in place at a 299 man reserve unit.

In 1995 she completed active duty and was once again assigned as a reservist. At that time she went to work for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in the Records Bureau. She quickly advanced her career and in just a few short years was an Assistant to a Bureau Commander and Supervisor of the bureau civilian staff. She served in this capacity at an area command, training bureau, and the gang bureau before making the decision to move her family to Montana in 2004.

Once she moved back to Montana she became a real estate agent and in just two years had completed the education and surpassed the minimum number of transactions to become a real estate broker. In 2007 she received the education and endorsement to become a Supervising Broker, allowing her to supervise and manage real estate salespersons.

Charlotte became part of a team in 2010, working with Mike Liedle, another seasoned real estate agent. At the end of 2016 they decided to open their own company and named it Most Wanted Real Estate. They specialize in single family homes, land, and investment property. They work with buyers and sellers and have been involved in transactions that dealt with VA, FHA, RD, and commercial loans.

Charlotte has served on a number of boards and committees, several for the Helena Association of REALTORS®, such as the Membership Committee and the Professional Standards Committee. She currently chairs the Technology Committee and serves on the Communications Committee. She also handles a portion of the marketing for the Helena Association of REALTORS®. She is a current member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) and has served on the Salute to Women Luncheon Committee for three years. She also serves as the Chair for Western Montana SCORE, helping entrepreneurs start or advance their businesses.
